A total contribution of Kyat 50 million
comprising Kyat 2.0 million from Elite Tech, Kyat 1.0 each from Air Bagan, Asian Wings
and Asia Green Development Bank, was donated on behalf of Htoo Group of Companies by
Htoo foundation for flood victims in Ayeyarwady Division on 25 August 2012, and the
donation was accepted by chief minister of Ayeyarwady division, U Thein Aung.

Out of 26 townships and 7 sub-
townships in the Ayeyarwady Division, 24 townships were effected by flash flood.According
to statistics issued on 22 August 35 temporary camps for 8,358 victims from 2,113 families
in Pathein Township, 11 camps for 1,052 victims from 257 families in Kangyidaunt
township, 60 camps for 12, 107 victims from 2,670 families in Thabaung Township, 1 camp
for 357 victims from 102 families in Kyone Pyaw Township, 27 camps for 3,228 persons
from 773 families in Ye Kyi township, 10 camps for 2,257 persons from 550 families in Nga
Thaing Chaung township and 71 camps for 7,901 persons from 1,843 families in Kyaung
Gon township were erected. It is learnt that there are 215 temporary camps erected and
35,260 victims from 8,308 families.
